Simulation, Analysis, and Modeling Software (SAAM II)
Adds Enhancements - Including
Windows 7 Compatibility
SAAM II v2.1 enhancements include easier model design
functionality
in the software
toolbox; quicker access to plotting and tables settings;
easier import and
export of plots and tables; and faster ways to fit data
using the parameters slider bar.
Charlottesville,
VA – December 21, 2011 – Epsilon announces the release of
SAAM II v2.1 simulation analysis and modeling software with
compartmental and numerical analysis modes, compatibility
with Microsoft Windows 7 and easier interaction with other
software programs.
SAAM II was
designed to solve problems in the laboratory. Epsilon is
committed to SAAM II upgrades that meet the current modeling
needs.. Software enhancements for SAAM v2.1 include improved
drag-drop functionality during model building and new
toolbar buttons and context menus for easier access to plot
configuration options. Plots can now be copy/pasted or
exported in EMF and EPS formats. SAAM II v2.1 also provides
better data formatting that allows the user to copy and
paste tabular data (solution values, statistics, and
correlation and covariance matrices) directly into Excel or
Word documents for easy manipulation, as well as export them
in CSV format. A new slider control allows manipulating
(fitting) model parameters with live update of the model
calculations to facilitate viewing how sensitive a solution
is to changes in parameter values.
The SAAM II
(Simulation,
Analysis, and
Modeling II)
software was
designed to
support the
development and
statistical
calibration of
compartmental
models in
biological and
pharmaceutical
research and
instruction.
Computer
simulation has
