Santiago, August 17, 2016. Alfredo Nunes assumed as the new Manager of the Logistics Division of SAAM, with the mission of promoting the development of this business area both in the domestic market and in the Americas.
Nunes, a Brazilian national, obtained an MBA from the Getulio Vargas Foundation and has an experience of over 20 years in the services area of worldwide companies. Among other responsibilities, he served as Operations Director for South America at Penske Logistics Do Brasil and DHL. Likewise, he was Supply Chain Manager for Danzas Logistic, Caloi and Philips in Brazil.
SAAM is one of the major logistics operators in Latin America, providing comprehensive services to shipping and airline companies, importers and exporters. Currently, it has more than 130 hectares and support and warehouse areas, operating in Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador y Colombia.
