The company continues to make progress on its growth strategy through new investments, contracts and fleet renewal, driving a 9% increase in revenue for the period.
Santiago, November 6, 2026 | SAAM’s revenue grew 9% during the first nine months of 2026 compared to the same period of the previous year, totaling US$506.4 million. However, rising costs put downward pressure on net income, which reached US$60.4 million (-6%). EBITDA remained stable at around US$158.5 million, while the EBITDA margin was 32%.
“Our results reflect the resilience of our business model across both towage and air logistics. We have maintained a balanced performance with a healthy margin, even amidst the challenging conditions created by rising fuel prices, currency appreciation against the dollar and inflationary pressures in recent months,” commented SAAM CEO Hernán Gómez.
The executive added that the company continues to make progress on its 2030 strategy, incorporating new capabilities, systems and processes. “This, combined with our fleet renewal program and newly awarded contracts, will allow us to keep growing and improving profitability,” he said.
Key milestones for the period include signing an agreement to build four new tugboats in Brazil; adding four new tugs to our operations in Guatemala, Colombia, México and Chile; Aerosan being awarded a ground handling contract with Avianca; and Feller Rate upgrading the company’s risk rating to AA+.
