SAAM acknowledged by Bolsa de Comercio de Santiago (Santiago Stock Exchange)

The entity distinguished SAAM and the companies that comprise the Selective Stock Price Index (IPSA, for its name in Spanish) 2016, leading Chilean stock index.

Santiago, April 06, 2016.- SAAM, worldwide company that provides port services, towage and logistics services in 15 countries in the Americas, was acknowledged by the Santiago Stock Exchange for being part of the Selective Stock Price Index (IPSA) 2016.

The ceremony during which companies forming part of said index were distinguished, took place in the “Salón de Ruedas de la Bolsa de Santiago” and was attended by executives and representatives of the 40 most traded companies in the domestic stock market. On this occasion, Juan Andrés Camus, President of the Santiago Stock Exchange, highlighted the work carried out “to attract foreign investors and generate investment opportunities that will contribute to the development of our Stock Exchange”.

IPSA is the leading stock index of Chile and includes the 40 most traded stocks.

On behalf of SAAM, the distinction was received by the Administration and Finances Manager of the Company, Roberto Larraín, who pointed out that “being part of IPSA is an acknowledgement of the Company’s good performance during these years. Since we started being listed in the Stock Exchange, in 2012, we have been part of said index, which shows SAAM’s attraction for investors, with stable results and revenues, as well as a diversified business portfolio throughout 15 countries”.
