Juan Pablo Santibáñez Takes Over as New CEO of ATI

The executive formally took on his new position at the terminal operated by GEN, FCAB and SAAM.

 

Antofagasta, April 19, 2021. Juan Pablo Santibáñez officially took over as CEO of Antofagasta Terminal Internacional (ATI), operated by GEN, FCAB and SAAM.

The new CEO commented, “I am excited about taking on this new role and the challenge of building on the important, positive advances that the port has made in a variety of areas, which will carry it into the future. Under the pillars of safety, efficiency and care for the environment, we will strive to continue to make a contribution to regional development, thanks to our employees’ commitment and efforts with the community.”

Santibáñez has a degree in industrial engineering from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María and further studies in operational excellence from the Kaizen Institute and in people management from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He has a solid track record in the port-logistics sector, holding various managerial positions at SAAM over the past decade.
